No.11 Orange & Chocolate Pound Cake

★ Easy recipe for pound cake that’s going to satisfy your sweet cravings★
Ingredients: (for a 7×17cm pound cake pan)
< Pound cake >
1/ Country Ma'am cookies (Chocolate flavor): 4~6 pieces
2/ Pancake mix: 150g
3/ Sugar: 55g
4/ Vegetable oil: 50ml
5/ Eggs: 2 (S size) / 1 (M~L size)
6/ Milk: 80cc
< Orange syrup >
1/ Orange: 200g
2/ Sugar: 36g
3/ Lemon juice: 15ml
4/ Water: 30ml
Instructions:
<Orange syrup>
1. Wash the oranges well, then slice them 5mm thick.
2. Put water, sugar, lemon juice and the orange slices in a heat resistant container and mix well.
3. Cover the container with plastic wrap, heat in the microwave (600W) for about 3 minutes.
4. Turn around orange slices, heat again in the microwave (600W) for another 3 minutes.
5. Remove the heat, strain out the orange slices, and let the syrup cool.
<Pound cake>
1. Put sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and milk in a bowl and mix well.
2. Add the pancake mix to step 1 and mix roughly.
3. Add crushed Country Ma’am (4 pieces), chopped orange slices (approximately 20g), orange syrup (approximately 40g) to step 2 and mix.
4. Put step 3 in the pound cake pan full with the butter. Lift and drop couple times onto a table to remove air bubbles.
5. Put the orange slices and Country Ma’am on top of the filling from step 4.
6. Bake in preheated oven to 170℃ for 30 ~ 40 minutes.
